False alarm

It turns out the contractions I was having last night were Braxton Hicks and it was false labor. Even worse, my midwife said I'm only 1 centimeter dilated and it could be up to a week before I have the baby! I really hope he's not late. The anticipation is killing me.

Sean has been so sweet I guess being pregnant a little while longer isn't all bad.

Either way it seems I'll be looking like this for a little while longer.

NESTING

Today was definitely a nester. We cleaned ALL DAY LONG. The house is sparkling (for the moment) and all ready for Ben.

We might have been completed just in time. I've been having very mild contractions tonight. I'm not sure if they are the real deal or not but we'll keep you posted.

The day after Christmas

Hello family and friends. Welcome to my blog created especially for Ben's far away aunties and grandmama. This is my Christmas present to you this year since I haven't felt up to preparing or sending Christmas packages this year. Rest assured the merriment will resume next year with boxes full of homemade gifts for the holidays.

Until then you can come here anytime you want an update on the baby or the rest of the family. I'll try to post pictures as often as possible. Now that we have a video camera maybe I can even figure out how to get some video up.
